BSHP Postdoctoral Fellowships Awarded to Szilvia Szanyi and Alesia Preite

Szivlia Szanyi, Departmental Lecturer in Buddhist Studies in the Faculty of Theology and Religion, has been awarded a BSHP Postdoctoral Fellowship for research on the common sensibles in Buddhist philosophy, and the reception of Vasubandhu’s theory of perception in the Yogācāra commentarial literature. 

 

 

 

 

 

Alesia Preite, former DPhil student and Stipendiary Lecturer in the Faculty of Philosophy, has been awarded a BSHP Postdoctoral Fellowship for research on a book project entitled ‘Nature, Nurture and Virtue in Plato’s Philosophy’, centring on the Republic, Timaeus and Laws.
